Hugh McCall BA MA Student Psychology

Hugh received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia. Under the supervision of Dr. Heather Hadjistavropoulos, he is currently completing the second year of his Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at the University of Regina. The focus of Hugh’s research is on advancing innovative strategies for delivering evidence-based psychological treatments in an accessible manner. His specific research interests include the role of persuasive design in Internet-delivered Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (ICBT) and the use of ICBT for treating depression, anxiety, and posttraumatic stress among public safety personnel. For his master's thesis, Hugh is conducting a meta-analysis of unguided Internet-delivered cognitive behavioural therapy (ICBT) interventions for depression and anxiety and a meta-regression to determine whether various persuasive design elements predict treatment outcomes.
