Supporting Our Canadian Public Safety Personnel
PSPNET is committed to delivering exceptional online mental health care for Canadian public safety personnel (PSP).
About PSPNET
PSPNET was founded in 2019 by Dr. Heather Hadjistavropoulos and co-principal investigator, Dr. Nick Carleton, who are internationally recognized experts.
This program was originally developed for the general population in Australia and Canada. We have since adapted the content in collaboration with and for Canadian public safety personnel (PSP) to address common mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress, sleep difficulties, and more.
PSPNET, located at the University of Regina, provides free and confidential internet-delivered cognitive behavioural therapy (ICBT) — bringing the benefits of therapy to you through engaging and practical online courses. Our program is informed by research, tailored for PSP, and continuously evaluated by our team to ensure care that is relevant and responsive to your needs.
Our Team
We’re a dedicated team of registered therapists, researchers, staff, and students committed to supporting Canada’s PSP. We provide therapist supports in English and French.
Our Partners and Funders
PSPNET is funded by the Government of Canada through the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness with additional funding from the provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Québec, and the Medavie Health Foundation.
