Julia is completing her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with honours under the supervision of Dr. Heather Hadjistavropoulos and PhD Candidate Hugh McCall. Her thesis will evaluate client perceptions and the role of narrative stories within internet-delivered cognitive behavioural therapy (ICBT) for spouses and significant others of public safety personnel. In her spare time, she volunteers as a peer supporter for those living with eating disorders at the Looking Glass Foundation and is a crisis responder at Kids Help Phone. Julia’s research interests include evaluating the effectiveness of ICBT in helping public safety personnel to cope with occupational stress and trauma.
