Marilyn Cox
Research Associate
Marilyn Cox has a BA in Sociology and a postgraduate degree in Grief and Bereavement Studies and a master’s degree in Family Studies and Gerontology. She is currently a research associate with the Family Matters Research Group. Her research centers on the experiences and relationships of individuals and families, the environments and processes that enhance family functioning, and the resources and support systems needed to promote healthy outcomes. The current focus of this applied research is on assessing needs and developing resources for military families and public safety personnel families.
