Samir Guerioune, Masters (Psych)
Clinical Research Associate
Samir Guerioune is a registered psychologist through l’Ordre des psychologues du Québec since 2014. He completed his masters degree in clinical psychology at both University of Mentouri in Constantine and Paris Descartes University. He is a Clinical Research Associate at the Canadian Institute for Public Safety Research and Treatment (CIPSRT) at the University of Regina and currently involved in the public safety personnel internet-delivered cognitive behaviour therapy.
Performing his internship in northern Quebec in Rouyn-Noranda in child-psychiatry and adult psychiatry teams and working in several multidisciplinary teams (youth mental health in Cowansville, child-psychiatry in Chatauguay, and adult mental health at the CLSC Samuel de-Champlain). Samir has acquired experience and intervention with immigrant families and children in the suburbs of Paris (intercultural practice) and in private Psycho-Center Roussillon clinics where he participated in assessments as well as individuals, families, and couples treatments.
